Occupation - Title Germain A. (Gerry) Chiniquy was an American animator. Biography Throughout his career, Chiniquy was involved with two animation studios: Warner Bros. and DePatie-Freleng Enterprises , where he worked as an animator with and under the supervision of Friz Freleng. Chiniquy started at Leon Schlesinger Productions in 1941, where he worked in Friz Freleng unit on Porky Pig, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Tweety & Sylvester animations, among others, and was known for animating the dance numbers. He moved to DePatie-Freleng Enterprises, together with Friz Freleng, in 1963. At the later studio, he became the director of The Pink Panther series, Here Comes the Grump series, and The Tijuana Toads series, among others. In the 1980s, he did animation for Warner Bros.
